“Alvaro Catalan de Ocon, born in Madrid, is characterized by an aesthetic expressiveness, a distinctively pure design and the practicality of his products. Each of his designs stresses the material employed, the versatility of the making of the process and the possibility of interaction with the customer.” AXXIS Magazine, Colombia 2014.

“His design approach is based on a highly sophisticated vision of what makes an object special. His designs are clean and elemental but rich in experience and associations. His projects’ easy and light/pure appearance is achieved through an intensive process of study and reduction.” Jesús Vassallo Fernández, Doctor in Architecture from Harvard University.
