Flaca means ‘slim’ in Spanish. The name was chosen to illustrate the lamp’s thin profile. LaFlaca is probably the most industrial and technical product of the series. Nevertheless, it still keeps the same philosophy: that of reducing an object to its basic elements and enhancing the physical relationship of the body and the object.

In this design the lamp has been reduced to its minimum expression by removing everything superfluous and unnecessary. All the electrical connections are resolved without the use of cables. Additionally, each of the elements of the lamp has been analyzed and optimized separately, therefore reducing the amount of components and arriving at a strikingly essential object. All these qualities become apparent in the act of assembling the lamp and in its daily use, creating a bond between the user and the object.
